Our Story

We grew up in Hounslow, at a time when clothing still meant something. Lily's mother dressed beautifully every Sunday — not for any particular occasion, but because life was worth the effort. That outlook has never left us.

This belief has stayed with us ever since.

Past fifty, we began to notice that fashion had stopped bothering with people like us. Everything on the high street seemed aimed at twenty-year-olds, or at people who'd given up altogether. We wanted something in between. Elegant without looking dated. Confident without trying too hard.

So we founded Lily & Harry London.
